Our story

Carbometrix was born out of the will to contribute to the solutions for reducing GHG emissions by leveraging the power of financing and transparency. Our mission is to empower financial institutions to exert their influence and direct their financial flows towards the transition to a low carbon economy with reliable carbon performance data. Carbometrix was created by 3 highly experienced executives in financial institutions , in international operations and with unique expertise in tech, data and carbon. We are pragmatic and determined entrepreneurs. Because every tenth of a degree of warming avoided counts, we have decided to contribute our ideas, our skills and our workforce to the solutions for climate change mitigation.
